15 The best of the mid-west

Spring is the best
in the Mid-west.
The colors of the
Flowers are beautiful.
Birds return from the south
Grass starts growing so green so shiny
The ants start coming there so tiny.
Spring is the best it’s so warm.

Tongue Twister Poem
A Tongue Twister poem is made up of lines/verses that are hard to say when read aloud
by using similar consonant sounds in succession (use of alliteration). In other words, the
poem ties your tongue into knots. This form does not require end or internal rhyme.

9 Springtime
Springtime is a fun time I just found a dime. Climb up a tree and said yes it’s me. I went to the fair and I saw a fat chunky bear. My mom gave me some money and I said do you have some honey. See you next time and I will tell you a new rhyme.

#5 Acrostic Poetry

A Spring Day

All the snow is gone

Spring is already here
People play outside
Roses start to grow
Ice cream is being sold
Nice bright leaves grow on trees
Gardens are being watered

Dogs run on the park
All the children shout,
Yay!

6 Spring

Spring is a great season it is a time to play.

Playing in spring I play outside all day.

Reading is another thing I do in spring.

I also like spring because I go camping.

Nothing in spring makes feel happier than when I go swimming.

Going camping and going swimming and playing all day are thing I like about spring.

Spring to Winter

Spring to winter its always cold.
But I want it to be warm.
Now it’s going to snow.
Spring is so cold.
I want spring to come and have some fun.
And it seems spring will never come.
Why is spring so cold?
Spring so cold and Winter is bold.
It is so cold I might drink a cup of Joe.
Spring to Winter I hate it so.

The tongue twister poem was confusing and that was good because that's the point of a tongue twister poem. And also some of it didnt make any sense.
